Christmas has landed at Emerald Park!
Your family is invited on a magical adventure through Elf-land guided by Santa’s head elf, Jingles. Discover a number of excited elves who are busily preparing for Christmas before heading to Santa’s House where Santa Claus himself will be waiting to meet you!

An Emerald Park Christmas Experience ticket includes a trip through Elf-land to meet Santa’s elves who are preparing for Christmas, a magical visit with Santa Claus and a special present, plus all day park and zoo entry with unlimited access to our Junior Zone attractions.

First stop, the post office! Meet Santa's head elf Jingles and post out your Christmas list to Santa.
Elfie station🤳
Help Jingles check on Click at the elfie station! Click has a habit of making TikTok's and being late for work.
Wishitarium💫
When you wish upon a star… Meet the relaxed elf Luna and keep watch for a special shooting star. Don't forget to make a wish!
Toy testing🎁
Bréagáin will show you how the elves test the toys. It's a very important job in Elf-land!
Reindeer stables🦌
Meet Snowy who will teach you all about the reindeers and you can even take home some special Santa approved reindeer food.
Naughty or Nice list📖
Time to find out from Tricky if you are on the naughty or nice list. Fingers crossed!
Santa visit🎅
Ho Ho Ho! Your family will have a private visit with Santa Claus who will have a special gift for all the children on the nice list.

The Emerald Park Christmas Experience is a magical event. We’ve set out these guidelines to ensure everyone has a memorable experience.
Pre-booking is essential, tickets will not be available on the day.
Our Adventure Zone attractions will be closed during your visit. You can still enjoy our Junior Zone attractions, playgrounds, and zoo before or after you enter the experience.
Due to the time of year, all attractions will close at 4pm. If your Santa visit is later than 4pm, we would advise you to arrive beforehand to visit these attractions before we close.
You can pre-purchase a delicious meal for The Lodge in advance when booking. The Lodge will be open daily until 6.30pm*. Our ice cream parlours Blásta and Scoops featuring Ben & Jerry’s will also be open for sweet treats.
*if your Santa visit is booked after 5pm please redeem any pre-purchased meal vouchers prior to your visit time
On the day
It’s time for the gift of FUN!
Check in with our Admissions team, who will give you a ticket to visit The Christmas Experience at your booked time slot.
The Christmas Experience is held in The Lodge building. Please enter the Grotto in The Lodge at your booked time slot.
The Christmas Experience will be approximately 1 hour from the start of your visit at the Grotto.
Additional needs
We are reserving specific time slots for guests with additional needs. During these times the experience will have reduced visitor numbers to allow guests to enjoy at their own pace.
- One carer will be given free admission if accompanying a child with additional needs.
- This is not a sensory session; music levels and interaction will remain as per usual.
- On the day of visit, suitable documentation for the guest with additional needs must be presented. You can find full details in our additional needs policy. Otherwise, full price will be charged.
- Spaces are limited, to book or to amend an existing booking email bookings@emeraldpark.ie.
Food, drink and shopping
The Lodge will be open daily until 6.30pm. Our ice cream parlours Blásta and Scoops featuring Ben & Jerry’s and Dunk will be open, along with Sweet Station and our Gift Shop.

We have a professional photographer available to take your photo at the Grotto. Photo’s are not covered in your ticket price and can be paid for on the day of your visit.

Will Cú Chulainn be open?
Our Adventure Zone area will be closed during The Christmas Experience. This includes rides such as Cú Chulainn, Viking Voyage, Flight School, Power Surge, The Rotator and more. You can view a full list of attractions in our Adventure Zone here.

Can you use pre-purchased tickets to book The Christmas Experience?
Pre-paid tickets cannot be used in conjunction with The Christmas Experience. Tickets with the reference “TA / TW / TL / TWL” are for general entry only.
