Role & responsibilities

As a Seasonal Team Member in our Restaurant Catering Department, you will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring our guests have a truly immersive experience.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to our guests.
  • Selling world class merchandise to park visitors.
  • Assisting customers with their queries and purchases.
  • Work co-operatively, good communication and ensure support with colleagues throughout the season.
  • Perform all tasks to a high standard with a focus on customer safety, interaction & enjoyment, and communication with guests throughout their day in Emerald Park.

Areas of work

  • Till point kiosks in a variety of our food offering units.
  • Customer service.
  • Supporting colleagues in different food units.
  • Welcoming guests.
  • Customer interaction.
  • Customer assistance.


  • Applicants must be 17 years or older by March 23rd, 2024.
  • Prior work experience is not a requirement and we welcome individuals who are entering the workforce for the first time.
  • This is a seasonal contract position. Estimated start date March 23rd – September 30th, 2024. Contracts may be extended.


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
  • Adaptable to both indoor and outdoor dining.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt & respond effectively to challenging situations whilst maintaining a professional approach.
  • Candidate will need to be flexible, have an adaptable approach to their work and have a can-do attitude.
  • Candidates with previous experience in the restaurant industry, cash handling, customer service, and EPOS sales will be considered favourably but not a prerequisite.
