Terms & Conditions of Entry

Emerald Park is the park situated at Kilbrew, Ashbourne, Co. Meath

All persons entering Emerald Park  (“Entrants”) do so subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms”).

1. Tickets

1.1 Save as otherwise permitted by Emerald Park, all Entrants must pay for admission. Any person attempting to gain admission without a valid ticket will be refused entry and/or removed from Emerald Park and be barred from re-entry.

1.2 Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Emerald Park reserves the right to increase or decrease ticket prices at any time. The prices of tickets purchased online are as stated in Entrant’s confirmation email. Refunds will not be given due to weather.

1.3 Proof of payment must be available at all times by Entrants during their visit to Emerald Park and submitted for inspection if required by any employee or agent of Emerald Park. Failure to provide a valid ticket may result in removal from Emerald Park.

1.4 All guests booked on a single booking reference must be processed together. Emerald Park will not process booking references separately.

1.5After leaving Emerald Park, Entrants are not eligible for re-entry unless issued a re-entry pass from the admissions team .

2. Wristbands

2.1 Wristbands are an important part of the health and safety system in Emerald Park. They provide an indication as to where entrants can safely use rides. As such, wristbands are non-transferable and non-refundable.

2.2 Wristbands must be worn/retained at all times by Entrants during their visit to Emerald Park and submitted for inspection if required by any employee or agent of Emerald Park. Failure to provide a valid wristband may result in removal from Emerald Park. Wristbands are only valid subject to guest meeting the Health and Safety requirements of the Rides and Attractions. These include but are not limited to height, weight, and various medical restrictions.

3. Conduct of Visitors

3.1 Emerald Park reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry to, or remove from Emerald Park or the vicinity without refund, any person who: –

3.1.1 Behaves in a manner which, in the opinion of Emerald Park, its employees, contractors or agents, has affected or is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of, or cause annoyance, danger or distress to, other Entrants or damage to property.

3.1.2 Uses threatening, intimidating, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace.

3.1.3 Appears, in the opinion of an employee, contractors or agent of Emerald Park , to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

3.1.4 Takes photos, videos, or otherwise records either guests and/or employees without their specific permission to do so. Any individual who does this will be asked to leave Emerald Park; or

3.1.5 For any other reason at the sole discretion of Emerald Park, its employees, contractors, or agents.

3.2 A person to whom Terms 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3, 3.1.4 or 3.1.5 applies will be liable for any damage caused or expenses incurred by their behaviour.

3.3 Smoking or vaping E cigarettes ,  is only prohibited within designated areas of Emerald Park.

3.4 Only food and beverages purchased in Emerald Park may be consumed in Emerald Park.

3.5 Pets or animals of any nature (except for guide , hearing or registered Assistance Dogs) are expressly prohibited in Emerald Park. For specific information on what types of dogs qualify as Assistance Dogs in Emerald Park and are allowed entry, please contact Emerald Park prior to your arrival onsite.

3.6 All persons acknowledge that they are under a duty of care to take reasonable steps to ensure their own safety and that of any person accompanying them, taking into account age, capacity and ay medical conditions.

3.7 All persons in and around Emerald Park must behave in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

3.8 Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 years or over whilst visiting Emerald Park

4. Opening of Attractions and Displays

4.1 Emerald Park will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that its attractions and displays are open for use by Entrants during its normal opening hours. However, Emerald Park reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, whether for safety reasons or otherwise, and with or without prior notice, to close Emerald Park or any part of it.

4.2 In the event of closure of Emerald Park, Emerald Park will refund the cost of prepaid tickets purchased specifically for dates on which Emerald Park is closed only.

4.3 Other than in accordance with Term 4.2, Emerald Park shall have no liability whatever, including no liability for travel expenses or any other out-of-pocket expenses, in respect of closure of part or all of Emerald Park.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 Other than liability for Death or Personal injury resulting from the negligence of Emerald Park, its employees or agents, Emerald Park, shall not be liable to entrants for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, howsoever arising. Emerald Park shall not be liable for any entrant’s property lost or damaged at Emerald Park and such property is at the sole risk of the entrant.

6. Events Outside the Control of Emerald Park

6.1 Emerald Park is not liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations caused by events outside its reasonable control.

6.2 It must be understood that for operational, technical, weather related or other reasons beyond our control, any attraction may have to be closed, removed, altered in type or otherwise be unavailable at any time due to inclement weather, technical issues or otherwise without prior notice.

6.3 In the event of closure of Emerald Park, Emerald Park will refund the cost of prepaid tickets purchased specifically for dates on which Emerald Park is closed only. Emerald Park shall have no liability whatever, including no liability for travel expenses or any other out-of-pocket expenses, in respect of closure of part or all of Emerald Park .

7. Governing Law

7.1 These Terms and all disputes and issues between Emerald Park and an Entrant arising out of or in any way relating to these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Emerald Park and Entrants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
