30 days to upgrade – try before you buy

If you visit the park and later decide you want to become a member, you have up to 30 days to upgrade your ticket to an Emerald Park membership. This means you can use the cost of that ticket against the cost of membership. You will need to show your receipt* from day of visit to upgrade. Booking confirmations are not accepted, physical receipt must be presented.

Members booking process

All current Emerald Park members are required to book their visit in advance online. A small booking deposit will be taken in order to secure your booking. This deposit will be returned once you visit.

  • Membership terms and conditions
    • An Emerald Park membership is valid for 1 year from date of purchase (subject to opening dates). Emerald Park will close December 23rd, 2023 and reopens 2024 (subject to change).
    • A membership is for use by the named and photographed guest(s) only, and is not transferable under any circumstances. Memberships found to be held by persons, other than those named and photographed, will be retained by Emerald Park.
    • Emerald Park requires a photograph for membership where consent is required. Memberships cannot be activated unless photographs are taken. Emerald Park reserves the right to scan each member’s card upon entry. This will entail a member’s photo being made visible to the staff member on the till screen.
    • Guests entitled to free entry e.g., carers, can be named on a membership free of charge. Appropriate ID is required as without it, memberships cannot be processed.
    • An adult must be present on each membership and children under 16 must be always accompanied by an adult 18+ or they will be refused entry.
    • All members must book to visit in advance online. A deposit will be taken upon booking and released on the day of visit. Emerald Park reserves a member’s allocation which operates on a first come, first served basis.
    • Members will not be refunded for any full priced tickets purchased whilst holding a valid membership.
    • Membership is subject to some restrictions in usage dates, where additional charges at a special rate may be made available. Restricted dates include, but are not limited to: any themed and/or special events organised by or external to Emerald Park, e.g., Halloween/Christmas events.
    • Memberships cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers in Emerald Park e.g., school tours, Christmas & Halloween events, corporate/hotel tickets, special offers etc.
    • Any changes to a membership, separate to set up and renewal, must be made by the main contact on the membership pass. This contact must complete an amendment form and show valid ID to authorise the changes.
    • Memberships cannot be sold to another party, resold/exchanged, or profited for, under any circumstance, and will result in cancellation without refund. Failure to comply with Emerald Park T&C’s will result in cancellation of the membership.
    • Emerald Park reserves the right to change the membership benefits, terms, and prices at any time without prior notice.
    • Emerald Park reserves the right to cancel a membership without refund if it is deemed to be misused.
    • Please keep your receipt of payment of membership for future reference.
    • Should Emerald Park be forced to close due to exceptional circumstances outside of our control, Emerald Park will not be held responsible for any costs incurred, i.e., hotel, travel costs or otherwise. Further to this, Emerald Park will not offer refunds for days closed.
    • Emerald Park’s rides & attractions are subject to availability and may close for operational or technical reasons, seasonality, inclement weather, special events, to ensure the safety and security of guests, or if Emerald Park reasonably considers that circumstances require it.
    • The security of a member’s personal information is of the highest importance. The Emerald Park Privacy Policy conforms to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) effective as of 25th May 2018 and explains how a member’s information is processed and the rights a member has, as an individual, under the GDPR.
  • Membership benefits terms and conditions
    • Membership card must be presented at the time of purchasing an item. Photocopies or names on memberships will not be accepted.
    • No refunds will be issued in respect of producing membership card at a later date.
    • 20% discount on retail/food & beverage is subject to fair usage. This discount will be applied to full price items only.
    • 20% discount on retail/food & beverage will only apply to those named and photographed and will be limited to the amount of people per membership.
    • Membership benefits excludes external vendors, such as Twisted Chip, Sausies, Freestyle Beverages and Paid for Games.
    • If there is any doubt on likeness in photos, guest will be advised to visit the admissions department to update account details.
  • Membership upgrade terms and conditions
    • A copy of your physical receipt that is issued on the day of your visit, must be presented at the time of membership purchase. Photocopies/pictures are not accepted. Email booking confirmation is not considered a valid receipt. The physical receipt issued upon check in from day of visit is required.
    • A maximum of 2 visit receipt’s can be used against the cost of membership. The first receipt can be from a previous visit (within 30 days) and the 2nd receipt must be from the date that you choose to set up your membership. Multiple receipts/visits will not be accepted.
    • Membership upgrade will be “like for like”, e.g., if you purchase 6 tickets for your visit but only wish to upgrade to a 4-person membership, the maximum reduction in cost will be the ticket price for 4 persons.
    • Receipts are valid for 30 days from date of purchase and will not be extended. Receipts must be booked under one of the named adults on memberships.
    • Membership upgrade can only be used towards full price membership and does not apply to promotions. Discounted tickets (admits one, hotel, promo and group visits) cannot be used towards an upgrade.
