Brave the magical realm of Tír na nÓg, home to Na Fianna Force, The Quest, and The Celtic Dreamer. Then swing through the night on Swingosaurus, new for 2026. It’s guaranteed to be a ghoulishly good time!

Refuel between the thrills with a range of delicious food and sweet treats available throughout the evening. The Argentinian Grill, Warrior Kitchen and Base Camp Pizza Co. will be serving up hot meals, from juicy burgers and chicken favourites to freshly made pizzas.

If you’re craving something sweet, stop by Boost, Coffee Dock, Yummy Creations, or Tower Café for ice cream, hot drinks and tasty treats. Before you head home, don’t forget to visit our Gift Shop to pick up the perfect spooky souvenir to remember your night at After Dark.

    All rides will operate weather permitting and may close in heavy rain or adverse conditions. All attractions are subject to height and weight requirements.

  • What ages is the event suitable for?

    As After Dark takes place late in the evening and the park will be dark, we recommend the event for ages 10+. However, as After Dark is a no scare event, once your child meets the height requirements for the open attractions they will have a great evening. Strictly no alcohol is allowed.

  • When is After Dark?

    After Dark will run on October 16th, 17th, 18th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st. The event will take place between 18.30 – 22.00.

  • Can you use pre-purchased tickets to book After Dark?

    Pre-paid tickets cannot be used in conjunction with the After Dark event. Tickets with the reference “TA / TW / TL / TWL” are for general entry only.

  • Can I book After Dark using a gift card?

    Yes, when booking online please enter your gift card number at checkout.

  • Are tickets refundable?

    While tickets are non-refundable, date changes will be facilitated where possible, subject to availability. Please contact bookings@emeraldpark.ie for more information.

  • What is the latest time I am allowed to enter?

    The last admission to After Dark will be at 20:00.

  • Where is After Dark?

    After Dark will take place in the Thrill Zone and Tír na nÓg in our park. Located in Ashbourne, County Meath, just 30 minutes away from Dublin.

  • Will there be public transport?
