Requirements:

• Applicants must be 18 years or older by March 23rd, 2026.
• Prior work experience is not a requirement, and we welcome individuals who are entering the workforce for the first time. We have a history of hiring team members who are embarking on their initial job experiences.

This is a seasonal contract position. Estimated start date March 23rd – September 30th, 2026. Contracts may be extended.

Areas of work:

In any of the 8 food outlets and Restaurants within Emerald Park – Front & back of house

The Role:

We are on the lookout for kitchen assistants who are interested in working in a completely unique environment where no two days are the same. With eight food outlets serving thousands of customers a day, Emerald Park is unmatched for its diversity. There are no spilt shifts or late nights, uniforms supplied, meals on duty, discounts for Park visits and plenty more.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Our kitchen assistant’s role is an important one, you will be involved in every aspect of the day-to-day operation where no 2 hours are the same. From helping with food prep, serving on the main line, helping in the dish pit, running stock to one of our outlets, or taking deliveries, this position has everything to keep you on your toes.

Skills:

No experience? No problem, we will show you the ropes and help you along the way.

Full training will be provided to team members before commencing their work with the Kitchen assistant  team. The ideal candidates will be.

• Enthusiastic & motivated with a willingness to learn and be trained.
• Ability to understand and follow instruction/ procedures.
• Willingness to collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ability to assist in basic food preparation tasks.
• Have the ability to adapt to changing kitchen demands and take on various responsibilities as needed.
