Join us for a wild weekend celebration that’s fun for the whole family! Visitors of all ages are invited to experience the magic of wildlife, exciting activities, and special events throughout the park.

Meet Manchurian!
Meet our latest arrival to the Emerald Park Zoo, Manchurian, a 13-year-old male Amur Leopard. The latest arrival marks a major leap forward for big cat conservation in Ireland. As one of the world’s rarest big cats with fewer than 120 individuals remaining in the wild-this magnificent newcomer joins Emerald Park’s resident Amur Leopard, Freya, becoming the only breeding pair of Amur Leopards in Ireland.

Wildlife Ally Workshops
This years Love Your Zoo theme is 'Allies for Wildlife'. Discover how to become a wildlife ally through fun, hands-on activities like making bird boxes, crafting feeders and creating wildlife-friendly garden spaces.
World Of Raptors
Sit back and enjoy an incredible interactive exhibit where you will discover some of the world’s most magnificent and majestic birds. Guests can look forward to a 30-minute dynamic aerial display, featuring the world’s largest eagles, a whole host of impressive vultures, fantastic falcons and iconic and lovable owls. You’ll love meeting our fantastic falconry team and learning all about our majestic birds of prey.
Interactive Zoo Tours
Uncover wild facts at our expert-led tours at 12:30, 14:00, and 15:30 daily and discover all the fun at the Emerald Park Zoo.
Pollinator Monitoring
Join the zoo team in tracking local pollinator species and take part in real conservation efforts that help protect these vital creatures!

Love Your Zoo will run from May 31st to June 2nd

What attractions are included in the Love Your Zoo?
Our Junior Zone and Thrill Zone attractions will be open during Love Your Zoo week. You can view a full list of open attractions here.
All rides will operate weather permitting and may close in heavy rain or adverse conditions.
All attractions are subject to height and weight requirements, further information can be found on individual attraction pages.

What ages is the event suitable for?
We recommend age 3 and above as most suited for Love Your Zoo, also, there is plenty of fun and exploring to be enjoyed by all ages of the whole family at the park and at the event.

How much is Love Your Zoo?
Admission to Love Your Zoo is of no additional charge to a park entry ticket. Any day entry tickets purchased for the below dates will include free access to the event. Remember, to avail of our early bird rate of up to 20% off, be sure to book your tickets before midnight, the night before you visit.

Do I need to book the Love Your Zoo event online?
No, all day tickets purchased for May 31st to June 2nd will grant free entry to Love Your Zoo. No additional booking is required. However, please book all Emerald Park entry tickets in advance online. To avail of our early bird rate of up to 20% off, tickets must be purchased before midnight, the night before your visit.

Yes pre-paid tickets can be used against your ticket entry.

Are tickets refundable?
While tickets are non-refundable, date changes will be facilitated where possible, subject to availability. However we recommend checking whether the Love Your Zoo event will be running on your newly selected dates.
