Marketing and Graphic Design Executive

We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Graphic Design Executive to work within the marketing team.

As Marketing and Graphic Design Executive you will be responsible for designing, planning and delivery of all aspects of signage and marketing materials for Emerald Park. This will include implementation of marketing strategy, and overseeing the development of design assets for all departments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of design collateral – From signage [large and small format], website assets, social media graphics, advertising, logo creation, ad-hoc packaging, brochure design, flyers and posters.
• Project Management – Lead design projects from concept through to completion – from design creation, meeting with suppliers, order processing and installation management. Adhering to budget and project requirements.
• Communication & Content Creation – Design/ build content for our social media and website. Ensuring content is refreshed and up-to-date, inspiring and captivating our audience.
• Collaboration – Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to deliver design collateral.
• Creativity – Bringing new and creative ideas to the team.
• Marketing & Design Strategies – Contributing to wider marketing and business goals, through campaigns, digital communication and design.
• Graphic Management – Responsible for consistency and development of brand assets, tone of voice, photography, video and general communications.
• Presentation Skills – Presenting your work to internal teams and manage workloads within agreed timings.
• Digital Signage – Managing the digital signage system and developing content and assets.
• PR Activity and Planning – Involvement in PR activity and calendar of events for the year. Bringing creative flair and delivering ad-hoc design such as e-vites, media mailers, press release content.
• Photography/Video inventory – responsible for the delivery of photography and video-based content.
• Ad-hoc duties and general marketing tasks as required.

Candidate requirements

We are looking for someone that is fun, energetic and enthusiastic about all things design and brand management. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional looking to be part of an engaging and unique brand.

• Minimum 3-5 years Graphic Design experience.
• Third level qualification in Graphic Design or similar Design qualification.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of visual design skills and applications.
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud,  Illustrator and Photoshop are essential.
• Firm knowledge of the print industry and printing procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with audiences of differing ages and backgrounds.
• Photography or videography background a distinct advantage.
• A strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Enjoys creative development, constructive feedback and problem-solving whilst working to a brief and strong set of brand-guidelines.
• Highly organised individual with ability to work on own initiative and effectively work to deadlines.
• Previous marketing experience within a tourist attraction is desirable but not essential.

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Hours: Full Time: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
