Cú Chulainn is a warrior hero with magical powers and a legendary figure in Irish mythology. Emerald Park is proud to be the home of The Cú Chulainn Coaster, Ireland’s first rollercoaster. Opened in 2015, the Cú Chulainn Coaster is one of the biggest and most impressive attractions in Emerald Park.
The towering statue of Cú Chulainn is the first thing you’ll see as you pull into the car park and you’ll hear the exciting roar of the wooden ride’s acoustics as you walk through the gates. The legendary figure of Cú Chulainn is emblazoned across the front of the rollercoaster as he leads his passengers on an epic and thrilling warrior’s quest. There is an 32m drop at the peak of the coaster and it is a free fall gravity ride from that point onwards, with a thrilling 90 degree turn at the halfway point of the ride. Hold on tight and get ready to scream!

To participate on this attraction, the lap bar must close. Guests must be able to maintain the proper riding position, grip handholds, keep upright, and brace as required. Suitable footwear (flat shoes only) must be worn. Pregnant guests, guests with a cast/splint/air boot/brace, and guests with a pre-existing injury or health condition cannot participate.
