Mega Monster: Spooky and Sensory

Brand NEW for 2026! On Sunday October 18th, step into a Halloween world specially adapted for our Sensory Morning, where little monsters can explore Pumpkin Quest, meet spooky Halloween friends, and enjoy our brand-new Halloween Themed Live Panto Show in a calmer, more relaxed environment, with reduced capacity, softer lighting and gentler sound. Designed with sensory considerations in mind, this special session is designed to make the Halloween fun more accessible and enjoyable for everyone!

Booking is easy! Simply book as usual on our bookings page, and email bookings@emeraldpark.ie with your booking reference to register your interest. With only 200 spaces available, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Set off on a brand-new magical Halloween adventure trail this October as part of Mega Monster Halloween!

Gather the whole family and embark on the brand-new Pumpkin Quest! Brave questers must collect their map and help Patch the Pumpkin Master find his lost pumpkins, with the help of some brand-new spooky friends…

This special sensory-friendly experience has been thoughtfully adapted to create a more comfortable and welcoming adventure. Music and actor volumes will be reduced, lighting will be softer, and our spooky friends are experienced in adapting their performances to be sensory friendly.

There will also be a special sweet treat waiting for successful questers who brave the trail and spot all of Patch’s lost pumpkins!

Take your seat for a brand-new Halloween themed Panto, exclusive to Mega Monster Halloween at Emerald Park!

This special sensory-friendly performance at 11:30am will have a reduced capacity, softer lighting, lower music and microphone volumes. The cast will avoid sudden movements, creating a calmer and more comfortable environment while keeping all the fun and magic of the Panto. It’s the perfect Halloween treat for little monsters of all ages!

We encourage guests attending Spooky and Sensory to arrive to the park no later than 9:30am, giving you plenty of time to get checked in before the hustle and bustle of general park opening at 10am!

Spooky and Sensory guests will then have until 11am to enjoy Pumpkin Quest at their own pace, before making their way to a sensory-friendly viewing of the brand-new live Panto: Goldilocks and the Three Scares, which will start promptly at 11:30am.

  • What is Mega Monster: Spooky and Sensory?

    Spooky and Sensory is a specially adapted session of Mega Monster Halloween, designed to provide a calmer and more comfortable experience for guests who may benefit from a sensory-friendly environment. The session features reduced capacity, softer lighting, gentler sound levels and sensory-aware performances.

  • When is Mega Monster: Spooky and Sensory?

    Spooky and Sensory takes place on the morning of Sunday, October 18th, 2026. The park will open early exclusively for this event, we recommend arriving at the park no later than 9:30am. This gives you plenty of time to get checked in and settled before general park opening at 10am. 

  • Will the Panto and Pumpkin Quest be sensory-friendly?

    The 11:30am performance of Goldilocks and the Three Scares has been specially adapted with reduced capacity, softer lighting, lower music and microphone volumes, and no sudden movements from the cast. Our spooky friends across the event have been briefed and are experienced in adapting their performances to make them more sensory-friendly and comfortable for guests.

  • How many people can attend Spooky and Sensory?

    Reduced capacity will allow for 200 guests to take part in Spooky and Sensory. Please be aware that the park will be open to general guests from 10am, but guests not booked for Spooky and Sensory will not have access to Pumpkin Quest until 11:30am, or to the sensory friendly showing of Goldilocks and the Three Scares at 11:30am.

  • How can I book Spooky and Sensory?

    You may book your park admission as usual through the bookings page, then email bookings@emeraldpark.ie with your booking reference to register your interest in Mega Monster: Spooky and Sensory.

    Please note that availability is very limited, so we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment. If you are worried about purchasing tickets after spaces for Spooky and Sensory are full, you can enquire with our bookings team in advance of purchasing tickets. We will also update the Emerald Park website and social media platforms when spaces are full.

  • Can I make an in-person booking on the day?

    No. Please do not arrive to the park without email confirmation of both your park ticket, and Spooky and Sensory slot.

  • Can I book using a gift card?

    Yes, when booking online please enter your gift card number at checkout.

  • Can I stay in the park after the event?

    Guests visiting the Spooky and Sensory morning are welcome to enjoy the park when the event finishes at 12pm. Please be aware that music volumes and lighting will return to their normal settings from this time.

  • Do I have to attend the Panto?

    You can decide which elements of Spooky and Sensory are right for your party. If you plan to attend the Panto, please make sure you arrive in plenty of time as the performance starts promptly at 11:30am.
