Step into a spooky world where little monsters can explore a themed pumpkin trail, meet friendly Halloween characters, and enjoy unforgettable live entertainment, including our brand-new Halloween Themed Live Panto Show. Designed for families with children aged 3–12, Mega Monster Halloween invites you to wander, play, and discover a spooktacular Halloween adventure with all of the fun, and none of the frights!

Best of all, Mega Monster Halloween is included with your park admission at no extra cost, so you can enjoy all the Halloween entertainment alongside your favourite rides, attractions, and over 250 animals in our zoo for a full day of family fun.

Set off on a brand-new magical Halloween adventure trail coming this October as part of Mega Monster Halloween!

Gather the whole family and embark on the brand-new Pumpkin Quest! Brave questers must collect their map to help Patch the Pumpkin Master find his lost pumpkins with the help of some brand-new spooky friends…

There will also be a special sweet treat for successful questers who brave the trail and spot all of Patches’ lost pumpkins!

Alongside the Halloween entertainment, little ones can enjoy their favourite Junior Zone attractions including Honey Pot Bears, Crazy Bus and Balloon Chase. Explore the zoo with over 250 incredible animals, while older thrill-seekers can take on the adventure zone with attractions like the Cú Chulainn Coaster, Na Fianna Force and Dino Dash!

On Sunday October 18th, step into a Halloween world specially adapted for our Sensory Morning, where little monsters can explore Pumpkin Quest, meet spooky Halloween friends, and enjoy our brand-new Halloween Themed Live Panto Show in a calmer, more relaxed environment, with reduced capacity, softer lighting and gentler sound. Designed with sensory considerations in mind, this special session is designed to make the Halloween fun more accessible and enjoyable for everyone!

Booking is easy! Simply book as usual on our bookings page, and email bookings@emeraldpark.ie with your booking reference to register your interest. With only 200 spaces available, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

  • What is Mega Monster Halloween?

    Emerald Park’s Mega Monster Halloween is the park’s brand new Halloween event for 2026, offering a themed trail, live Halloween themed panto show, character meet-and-greets, themed decorations and photo ops!

  • What attractions are open?

    Our Junior Zone and Adventure Zone attractions will be open during Mega Monster Halloween. Please be aware some of our attractions are seasonal, you can view a full list of open attractions here.

    All rides will operate weather permitting and may close in heavy rain or adverse conditions.

    All attractions are subject to height and weight requirements, further information can be found on individual attraction pages.

  • What ages is Mega Monster Halloween suitable for?

    We recommend ages 3-12 most suitable for Mega Monster Halloween, however, there is plenty of fun and exploring to be enjoyed by all ages of the whole family at the park and at the event.

  • How much is Mega Monster Halloween?

    Admission to Mega Monster Halloween is of no additional charge to a park entry ticket. Any day entry tickets purchased for the below dates will include access to the event and live show.

  • Do I need to book Mega Monster Halloween event online?

    No, all day tickets purchased for the dates below will grant free entry to Mega Monster Halloween. No additional booking is required.

    However, please book all Emerald Park entry tickets in advance online. To avail of our early bird rate of up to 20% off, tickets must be purchased before midnight, the night before your visit.

    Yes pre-paid tickets can be used against your ticket entry. Specifically tickets with the reference “TA / TW / TL / TWL” can be used.

    Yes, when booking online please enter your gift card number at checkout.

  • Are tickets refundable?

    While tickets are non-refundable, date changes will be facilitated where possible, subject to availability. However we recommend checking whether Mega Monster Halloween will be running on your newly selected dates.
