The school fun trip is an all-inclusive fun-packed day for students. This package includes unlimited access to over 35 attractions*, and access to the zoo, home to over 250 animals. Students have the freedom to explore the park at their own pace.
*subject to height, weight, lap bar, and weather restrictions. Package excludes Sky Walk.

Emerald Park is an accredited zoo and is home to over 250 animals! On this tour, our Discover and Learning team will provide expert knowledge on animal biology and wildlife conservation.
Suitable for first year and TY. Can be tailored to all levels.

Students will conduct an investigation of a grassland ecosystem. The study will include a qualitative and quantitative plant survey, and animal collection and identification.
This package includes indoor and outdoor sessions with the use of specialist apparatus, data collection in line with the biology curriculum.
This session can be adapted to suit Junior Cycle Science and Leaving Certificate Biology, as well as Further Education Programmes.

The guided tour will focus on the work of the service industry, various departments in the business and employment opportunities. This session will inspire students to recognise the value of the environment on our daily lives. Students will explore the power of individual actions and their impact on the environment. This session aims to help students understand our duty of care for the natural world.
This package includes a classroom presentation, a guided zoo tour and a group activity.
This package is suited for CSPE Action project (Environmental Stewardship) and Transition Year students.

Students will explore the delicate interdependence of living creatures, discovering the flow of energy and the role of different organisms found within an ecosystem. Students will learn about issues of social importance, such as the impact of humans on the natural world.
This package includes a classroom presentation, group activity and a guided zoo tour linking the conservation work currently being undertaken by Emerald Park for wildlife.
This package is suitable for Junior Cycle Science with the incorporation of Junior Certificate syllabus biological word, and can be adapted to suit Transition year students and Green School participants.

Included in your package during peak season is full day entry to Emerald Park with unlimited use of the attractions. For guided tours, you must meet your tour guide at the designated meeting point 15 minutes before your tour begins.
Please note: if your time at Emerald Park is limited then you may not get to experience all available activities.
Emerald Park is an outdoor park. Everything will operate as normal for your tour should it rain (with the exception of inclement weather). However, we do advise to bring rain gear and a change of clothes if rain is expected. If you come prepared you will still have a fun day out!
A 25% deposit must be paid within 14 days of booking and full payment must be made before groups are permitted to enter the park. All deposits are non-refundable.
