It’s officially spooky season! Check out our October opening times and all the ghoulish things happening in the park.
Halloween is calling and Emerald Park is ready and waiting for fun, frights, ghouls and goblins 👻
Throughout October we will be closed Monday – Friday, with the exception of our After Dark event on the 20th and the school midterm on October 30th – November 5th.
Our opening hours are 10:00 – 17:00.
Our epic Halloween events, Tricky Trail and After Dark, also return this year on select dates…
Tricky Trail: October 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th – 1st November, 11:00 – 16:00
After Dark: 20th, 21st, 28th, 29th, 18:30 – 22:00

Tricky Trail
Tricky Trail is back with a BOO this Halloween. The family friendly treasure hunt guarantees a frightfully fun family day out, with spooky story telling, eccentric experiments, spell casting, magical performances, and more! There may even be a trick or treat waiting for you at the end of the trail…
After Dark
The thrilling night event, After Dark, makes a spine tingling come back for 2023. Get ready to take on the infamous BIG EIGHT – the Cú Chulainn coaster, Endeavour, The Rotator, Dino Dash, Flight School, Air Race AND Power Surge. Are you brave enough to conquer your fears in the dark?
School midterm
From October 30th – November 5th our opening hours are 10:00 – 17:00. Stop by the park for EPIC fun on your favourite attractions, a walk on the wild side in our zoo, and enjoy a range of exciting shows and immersive experiences. The midterm is the LAST CHANCE to ride our thrill seeking attractions, on November 5th, our Adventure Zone will close for the season.
World of Raptors
The World of Raptors birds will continue to fly in the iconic bird of prey display this month. There will be one showing per day at 14:30.
Zoo Talks
Our zookeepers are excited to meet you and chat about your favourite animals and conservation efforts surrounding them! 12:30 Ring-tailed lemurs; 13:00 Amur leopard; 13:30 King vultures; 15:00 Mountain lion
